{"id":711,"date":"2020-01-03T06:09:28","date_gmt":"2020-01-03T12:09:28","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/historifigs.com\/site\/?p=711"},"modified":"2020-01-03T06:11:02","modified_gmt":"2020-01-03T12:11:02","slug":"the-next-batch-of-40mm-toy-soldiers","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/historifigs.com\/site\/2020\/01\/03\/the-next-batch-of-40mm-toy-soldiers\/","title":{"rendered":"The Next Batch of 40mm Toy Soldiers"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Received a package from John Bertolini yesterday; containing a few more <a href=\"http:\/\/historifigs.com\/site\/soldiers-of-the-belle-epoche\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">1880 &#8211; 1914 French (marked as &#8216;Coming Soon&#8217;)<\/a>, so I&#8217;ll be molding some more 40mm this weekend&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>In addition the French, a small group of (restored) Scruby 40mm will be included:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Sudan War of 1884 &amp; Egyptian Campaign of 1882<\/strong><br \/>\n40T-6 &#8212; British Line Infantry, picklehaub, dress, at slope<\/li>\n<li>\n<h5><strong>Russia(Boxer Rebellion, Russo-Japanese War)<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>40T-36 &#8212; Infantry, peaked cap, blanket roll, marching<br \/>\n40T-37 &#8212; Infantry, pill box hat, blanket roll, advancing high port<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>I&#8217;m not sure about 40T-6, as this is a later, pre-assembled piece. Never really liked how these were molded, so I&#8217;ll be looking at the best way to mold this to increase life of the mold cavity.<\/p>\n<p>Remaining space in the pattern mold will likely hold some more 40mm soldats de la Belle \u00c9poque. Cavalry to be closer to specific.
