Earlier this month I mentioned a new product was in the works…
A few hiccups in last week’s schedule, pushed work on off these until yesterday when I was able to spin the pattern mold. These tokens cast up nicely. I haven’t yet had time test out any finish options, but I did manage to drop a few into the tumbler to see how they look with the most simple of finishes:
The picture isn’t great, but does give an idea of what our new Victory Tokens look like. I’ll be trying out a faux bronze finish and perhaps a simple antique patina finish. Not sure I’ll like the patina, I’ve done too many pendants with the look and I’m not sure I like it enough to use on these, but we shall see.
Still need to work up prices, but we do know that these will sell in sets of six (6), USA or CSA and sets of twelve (12), six (6) each CSA and USA. Will also offer individual pieces in case you need just a few.
In other product news: Remolding of the Bloodaxe, 15mm Ancient Hawaiians is also moving along. Part of yesterday’s work included casting some new patterns for a couple poses in this set. I should have a new figure listing for the Hawaiians end of the week. Remolding likely complete by the end of the month. In addition to some reformulated army packs for DBA we are adding two army packs designed for use with The Portable Wargame. One of these is a single army pack. The other includes two matched Hawaiian armies. Included in these packs will be some additional, recommended, rules for Hawaiians as well as suggestions for modeling other Polynesian armies using the Bloodaxe Hawaiians.
