In recent weeks (maybe months would be a better time-frame) we have been experiencing delays with mail delivery.
Incoming mail (mostly order requests) has arrived in our post office box up to 12 weeks after being mailed; this explains some of our late deliveries and slow response times.
Outgoing mail has also seen delays. Priority Mail packages have slowed down the least, others have been taking up to twice as long to arrive in customers hands.
International packages have slowed down as well. We used to allow two (2) weeks for any delivery to the UK or Europe. We have been told it may take as long as two (2) months for deliveries to these locations. Of late we have had at least two, international, packages go missing.
All of this on top of rising postal rates…
For now (February) we will do our best to hold shipping rates as low as possible (eating some portion of costs for many outgoing packages). Come March we will revisit shipping rates and adjust as needed (still trying to keep costs down).
If you have mailed in an order and have not heard from us, please drop us a note (email might be best) and we will do our best to get caught up.
