It was a busy weekend at HistoriFigs HQ. I had wanted two shop days, but only was able to fit in one day (and only because I finished the farm chores on Saturday. Muddy conditions made them take longer, but then Sunday was now a free day).
Sunday was a casting day. A handful of orders to complete. I needed to take some pictures for a couple different people, so thought I’d capture a few shots of the work in progress and share them with you.
I’ll start off with a quick picture of the Spin Casting machine:
One of the bench shortly after getting started; shows a, hand written, worksheet and a few castings:
Insert picture of messy workbench…
A bit more progress:
Cooling molds:
Queue another shot of the messy workbench:
Lunchtime!
And nearing the end of the casting session:
One of these days I’ll get the shop back in order, last year there was too little time and too much to do, so I got extra messy. As soon as I get things cleared around the mold racks I’ll take you for a tour through the mold stash…
